Former Ashbrook standout: Mack Brown will turn Tar Heels’ program around

When former Ashbrook High standout Sean Boyd agreed to a football scholarship at UNC in 1991, Mack Brown sold him on the dream of future success. Since Boyd saw those dreams turn into reality then, he has no reason to believe Brown can’t repeat history. Brown, who coached UNC from 1988 to 1997, is expected to be introduced again as Tar Heels coach on Tuesday.
