Gregg Berhalter named head coach of US men’s national soccer team


After playing in two World Cups, (UNC '94) will be trying to lead the U.S. back there as its coach. The U.S. Soccer Federation has chosen Berhalter, who has coached the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer for five seasons, to be the next coach for the U.S. men’s national soccer team. Berhalter is scheduled to be introduced at a news conference Tuesday. (USA Today)
