McGrath to lead UNCW in return to face Roy Williams, Tar Heels

After a game between Lawrence and Topeka West, Scott Williams came home and told his father about a skilled athlete for the other team named C.B. Roy Williams eventually went out to see C.B. McGrath for himself, offering him a walk-on spot with the Jayhawks. McGrath drove 30 miles between Topeka and Lawrence every day that summer for pick-up games at the school.
