Five-star center Vernon Carey commits to Duke

Five-star center Vernon Carey committed to Duke on Thursday, giving the Blue Devils their third five-star recruit of the class. Carey, a standout at Ft. Lauderdale (Ft.) University School, picked Duke over Michigan State and North Carolina. To go with the three schools, Carey also took official visits to Miami and Kentucky. Carey took his official visit to Duke the weekend of Oct. 19.
