LB Parks Cochrane Couldn't Pass Up Preferred Walk-On Opportunity With Heels

The Tar Heels picked up a commitment from IMG Academy linebacker on National Signing Day last Wednesday. It started with a conversation with former North Carolina linebackers coach Mike Ekeler, an opportunity Parks said didn’t end with last month’s staff change. He chose the Tar Heels as a preferred walk-on over similar interest from Oregon, Vanderbilt and SMU. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
