When Sam Howell signed with North Carolina on Dec. 19, he became the jewel of UNC's 2019 recruiting class and secured the quarterback position for the Tar Heels for the next few years in Chapel Hill. Howell is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound signal-caller from Monroe (N.C.) Sun Valley High School. He is ranked as the No. 87 player in the 2019 class and the No. 3 pro-style quarterback. (Inside Carolina)
