Tar Heels Visit Pitt In ACC Opener - Pregame Notes

North Carolina is 53-12 in ACC openers, including 10-5 under coach Roy Williams. UNC travels to Pitt and NC State (1/8) to start conference play. This is the 11th time overall and second time in three seasons the Tar Heels begin ACC play with two road games. UNC is 13-3 against Pittsburgh, including 6-2 since the Panthers joined the ACC in the 2013-14 season. (GoHeels.com)
