During the 2016-17 season North Carolina had a similar start to the ACC schedule: back-to-back road games with the first against one of the presumptive bottom dwellers in the conference. That year, UNC lost to Georgia Tech by 12 in Atlanta. The current iteration of the Tar Heels would not suffer the same fate. (Armchair All-Americans)
