Wins are precious, so they aren’t taken for granted. North Carolina’s loss to Louisville showed that. UNC’s 75-69 win over Notre Dame wasn’t pretty. But Roy Williams was good with that. “I got my wish,” Williams said after the game. “I wanted to win one ugly.” A game after shooting 35 percent from the field, the Tar Heels again looked out-of-sync against the Irish on offense.
