The UNC-BC game was by far the most physical contest of the tournament. The Eagles are a physically imposing bunch, and they play an inside-out style offensively that maximizes the amount of contact in the lane. With Noel giving away some size to Smith, and Tyler Hansbrough the Tar Heels' only other reliable post player, Carolina simply wore down physically for one of the few times this season.
