Bard Leads Tar Heels To Two-Hit Shutout Of Wake Forest

Preseason All-America right-hander Daniel Bard and three relievers combined on a two-hit shutout as No. 3 North Carolina evened its series with No. 30 Wake Forest with a 3-0 victory Saturday at Gene Hooks Stadium. Sophomore Andrew Carignan struck out three of the seven batters he faced to earn his second save for the Tar Heels.
