Former NFL center Jason Brown stresses message of love, service during MLK celebration

Statesville welcomed former NFL offensive lineman Jason Brown on Friday as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration. "We're here to share in the legacy of one man's dream," he told the crowd which included his wife, Tay, and their seven children. Brown walked away from football in 2012 at age 29 with the objective of providing food for the less fortunate.
