As UNC took on Virginia Tech on Monday, they did so in front of a four-star in-state point guard from the 2021 class. Greensboro Day High School’s Cam Hayes was in the Dean Dome for an unofficial visit sitting on the baseline bear the Tar Heels' bench. Hayes is ranked as the No. 33 recruit in the nation per 247 Sports’ composite rankings and is the No. 1 player in North Carolina.
