UNC Steals Four-Star LB Eugene Asante


Four-star linebacker will continue his football career at North Carolina. UNC's Coastal Division rival Virginia Tech was perceived as Asante's likely destination during the final months of his recruitment. In addition to UNC and Virginia Tech, Asante, a 6-foot-1, 212-pounder from Chantilly (Va.) Westfield, listed Florida State, Maryland, and Nebraska as finalists. (Inside Carolina)
