Mack Brown Prioritizing In-State Recruiting

Before Mack Brown arrived, UNC had zero in-state football commitments ranked in the top 25 of 247Sports 2019 Composite rankings. Now, on Feb 6, the Tar Heels have signed five of the top 25 players and 10 in-state players total. The class is headlined by four-star quarterback Sam Howell, ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the state of North Carolina. And it's just the beginning.
