Phoenix Suns Waive Wayne Ellington


The Phoenix Suns have waived guard . Ellington was acquired from Miami in a trade that was completed Thursday. The 31-year-old shooting guard had a no-trade clause in his deal with Miami that he waived with the expectation he will join a playoff contender, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Suns were Ellington’s eighth NBA team. (Arizona Sports)
