But once he arrives, the North Carolina coach won't be in a rush to leave, contrary to criticism he's heard in the past about not placing adequate emphasis on conference tournaments. The surprising success of his 10th-ranked Tar Heels has made this year's title a realistic and worthwhile goal. They've won 10 of their last 11 games. Why back off now?
