In the ultimate contrast of styles, the high-octane Tar Heels will try to do a better job imposing their tempo on Virginia than in the past three meetings, with fewer than 60 possessions in each game. In UNC’s last win over Virginia in 2017, the Tar Heels were able to push the pace to 61 possessions. This season, the Tar Heels are playing faster than ever.
