"I projected North Carolina to be one of the 65 teams in the NCAA Tournament back in November," Vitale said. "They've got the leader in Roy Williams, and he's my national coach of the year. Roy has blended that youth with senior David Noel's direction and ability to lead, and they're a happy basketball team playing so well as a unit." (Durham Herald-Sun)
