After a 17-year NFL career in which he became one of the greatest defensive ends in NFL history, Carolina Panthers great is now happily retired. The No. 2 pick in the 2002 NFL Draft and perennial All-Pro decided to bow out and hang up his cleats at the age of 39. As a player, Peppers became known for being a reserved, quiet person.
