More than just a name: A’s Skye Bolt worked to regain favor

Skye Bolt, 25, didn’t look as if he were heading toward a roster spot last season when he was demoted from Midland to Class A Stockton in April. But he showed the A’s something by working hard to get back on track, overhauling his hitting mechanics entirely. He wound up hitting nine homers for the Ports and returned to Midland in June.
