Everett Withers bolts from Butch Davis, joins New York Giants

The reunion of two former UNC football coaches didn’t last long. The New York Giants hired Everett Withers as their defensive backs coach, filling their final coaching vacancy before the team heads to Indianapolis for this week’s NFL Combine. Earlier this month, head coach Butch Davis named Withers defensive coordinator at Florida International.
