An inning before his first appearance with the St. Louis Cardinals went sideways Friday, veteran reliever sat in the bullpen and did what he has anywhere and anytime possible this past month: he chatted up a younger pitcher. He’s something of a Johnny Appleseed in the clubhouse. Almost every pitcher has a Miller pointer he’s picked. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
