Breaking Down UNC's Quarterback Position

After the departure of Nathan Elliott and junior Chazz Surratt switching from quarterback to linebacker, three quarterbacks are left competing for UNC's starting job. Those three quarterbacks are early enrollee Sam Howell, redshirt freshmen Cade Fortin, and Jace Ruder. Both Fortin and Ruder gained experience during last fall’s injury-riddled season.
