Kenny Williams grew up a huge Tar Heel fan, a team that featured players who went on to be NBA greats, like Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Bob McAdoo, Vince Carter and Rasheed Wallace, to name a few. So roughly one month following Shaka Smart’s departure from VCU, Williams announced his commitment to UNC. And the timing couldn’t have been better.
