Requiem for the old-school ACC tournament (and classroom TV cart)


For so many southeastern schoolkids, there was no more certain signal that spring had arrived than on the second Friday of March, aka Quarterfinal Friday. That's when your now-favorite teacher rolled that metal AV cart into the classroom, announced that the first game of the ACC tournament was about to tip off, and then soaked in the round of applause that followed.
