UNC Students Giving Back to North Carolina on Spring Break

While many UNC students spent spring break traveling to tropical destinations, others used the time to serve the state and region they call home. Through the APPLES Service-Learning program’s Alternative Spring break course, students traveled across North Carolina and Alabama to help address issues impacting communities firsthand. (UNC.edu)
