Heels' Noel builds his case for top honors

If Wednesday was an audition between Virginia's Sean Singletary and North Carolina's David Noel for the fifth spot on the All-ACC basketball team, Noel won easily. It's not that simple, of course. It's not a two-horse race. On the same night Noel flamed the Cavaliers' defense for 26 points and four assists in a 99-54 UNC romp, Florida State forward Al Thornton had a big performance in the Seminoles' 79-74 victory over top-ranked Duke.
