UNC Softball Comes Up Short to No. 5 Tennessee

Despite limiting the 11th-highest scoring offense to five hits, North Carolina dropped a 2-0 decision to No. 5 Tennessee on Wednesday at Anderson Stadium. The Lady Vols' RBI-single in the first inning would be all they needed to clinch the win over UNC. Carolina put a runner in scoring position in the sixth inning, but Tennessee held the Tar Heels to just one hit. (GoHeels.com)
