Kentucky’s P.J. Washington ruled out for NCAA tournament opener

Kentucky forward P.J. Washington has been ruled out of Thursday’s NCAA tournament first-round game against Abilene Christian with a sprained foot. Wildcats coach John Calipari was optimistic that Washington would be able to play in UK’s tournament opener when speaking to reporters Wednesday. But Calipari confirmed Thursday that Washington was ruled out. (NBC Sports)
