Maryland Tops UNC Men's Lacrosse In Rivalry Battle

The fourth-ranked Maryland men's lacrosse team built an eight-goal halftime lead and went on to beat 16th-ranked North Carolina 16-9 on Saturday. The Tar Heels saw their three-goal win streak end and fell to 6-3. Next up for the Tar Heels is second-ranked Duke next Saturday at 2 p.m. at the UNC Lacrosse Stadium on the Chapel Hill campus.
