‘Dose of reality’ drives Tar Heels

The road North Carolina hoped to navigate last season in the NCAA Tournament has become the source of motivation this time around. The Tar Heels, top-seed in the Midwest Regional, meet ninth-seed Washington Sunday in the round of 32, the same stage where their path last March diverged from the Sweet 16 and veered into a season-ending ditch.
