Noel earned his Carolina Blue stripes the hard way

David Noel won’t go down in North Carolina history with names like Rosenbluth, Ford, Jordan or Jamison, but he should be remembered for being more than just a role player on last year’s national championship team or the leader of this season’s surprising bunch. Noel plays his final home game tonight for the Tar Heels, and like so many other Senior Nights, the occasion will be special. For Noel, it might be particularly so.
