UNC’s Garrison Brooks prepared to face old friends, familiar foe in Sweet 16 against Auburn

Not long after the final buzzer sounded on Sunday, when UNC cruised past Washington into the Sweet 16, Garrison Brooks received a phone call. It was from Auburn’s Jamal Johnson, a close friend of Brooks who is sitting out this season for the Tigers after transferring from Memphis. “He asked me if I was ready to take this L home,” Brooks said.
