In a Sweet 16 matchup that will be remembered for Auburn’s three-point shooting barrage, it was the aspects of the game that had fueled North Carolina’s late-season push that proved to be its undoing Friday. The Tigers made 17 three-pointers against the Tar Heels. It’s the most a UNC opponent has ever made against a Roy Williams-coached team.
