Is Bobby Jones finally about to make the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame?


“I got a letter from the basketball hall of fame,” begins. “I’m a finalist again.” He shrugs. He has gotten a similar letter four other times. Jones, who excelled at UNC, and then in the NBA as a defensive standout, has repeatedly made it to the doorstep of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. But each time, he has been denied entry.
