Slugging 14 hits on the day, North Carolina softball downed Virginia, 8-0 in five innings for UNC's 20th win of the season (Highlights). Four Tar Heels had multi-hit games to spark UNC's offense while solid defense and six Brittany Pickett strikeouts held off the Cavaliers. UNC and Virginia wrap up the series with a doubleheader Sunday at noon.
