Zion Williamson and the other players who Michael Avenatti vilifies do not need to respond to him. Avenatti is a private citizen who has no subpoena power. At this point in the college basketball recruiting controversy, Avenatti is a polarizing voice who many people doubt. At that same time, Avenatti has potentially damaging information about certain players.
