UNC's Defense Seeks Versatility on the Edge

Within the complex confines of Jay Bateman’s defensive scheme, there is versatility and opportunity to be found on the edges of the front seven. A key component of those tactics is the meshing of UNC’s rush end and outside linebacker positions. Bateman is utilizing linebacker Dominique Ross and end Tomon Fox to wreak havoc all around the front seven.
