Katie Hoeg had six assists and Tayler Warehime scored four goals as No. 6 North Carolina beat No. 3 Syracuse, 11-5, in ACC women's lacrosse at the UNC Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium on Saturday (Highlights). With the win, UNC improved to 11-3 overall, 4-2 in the ACC. Syracuse saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 13-3, 5-2.
