Three Tar Heels Earn Wrestling World Team Trials Spots At U.S. Open

Rising sophomores Jaime Hernandez and Brandon Whitman along with assistant coach Tony Ramos posted top-six finishes to lead the UNC wrestling contingent at the 2019 U.S. Open last weekend at the South Point Arena. Those performances mean that each wrestler has qualified for the 2019 World Team Trials, which will be held in Raleigh May 17-19. (GoHeels.com)
