USWNT World Cup squad: The college years

Last Thursday, head coach Jill Ellis announced the U.S. roster for this year’s World Cup, as the U.S. seeks to defend its crown in France later in the summer. Five of the 23 players all have one thing in common: they played at North Carolina. Take a look back at each player’s time in college, where they competed and their accomplishments on campus.
