Lucy Bronze Named To 2019 Women's World Cup Team For England

Increase the number to seven for the number of former UNC women's soccer players headed to France in June to play in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. Lucy Bronze, who plays for England, became the seventh former Tar Heel player named to a roster for the tournament. Bronze played for the Tar Heels in 2009, leading UNC to a national championship.
