When North Carolina’s football coaching staff lined up in front of its new roster in January, it was the defensive line coach who elevated the first team meeting into a raucous occasion with a passionate speech and a catchy slogan. Tim Cross got his start in college football as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Texas in 2001 under Mack Brown. (Inside Carolina)
