225 Years of Tar Heels: Sallie Krawcheck


Labeled ‘the most powerful woman on Wall Street,’ has held prominent positions as CEO of Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney and Sanford C. Bernstein, as well as CFO of Citigroup. Her rise has been attributed to her accessibility, problem-solving, and ability to read investors' needs. Krawcheck graduated from UNC in 1987. (UNC.edu)
