Rushing Attack in Play for Phil Longo's Air Raid

UNC’s running backs had to master pass protection and catching the ball out of the backfield to see the football field in years past. Those skills allow for a seamless transition into Phil Longo’s version of the Air Raid, which is more than just a passing scheme. His offense at Ole Miss averaged 164.1 rushing yards per game at a 4.7 yards-per-carry clip in 2018.
