Greatest former UNC athlete by state (Delaware): Rick Donalley
Posted May 21, 2019
The era in which Rick Donalley played football at North Carolina is one of the most important in the program’s history. Donalley was from Wilmington, DE, and in his career as a Tar Heel earned first-team All-ACC and second-team All-America honors as a senior in 1980. The Heels finished No. 10 in the final AP rankings that season with an 11-1 record.
