Diamond Heels perk up for postseason

Arriving in the postseason might be what UNC’s baseball team needed. The Tar Heels were crisp and opportunistic in their ACC Tournament opener. “The postseason is when you step up and play your best game,” UNC third baseman Ike Freeman said. The result was 3-2, 10-inning victory against Virginia on Wednesday at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
