Before Emma Trenchard came to North Carolina to play lacrosse, she played four years of soccer and basketball at Loomis Chaffee, a boarding school in Connecticut. On the court, her highlights are marked by multi-steal defensive efforts. Those skills have helped Trenchard transition on the lacrosse field into a top-notch defender for the Tar Heels.
