Basketball Background Benefits Emma Trenchard as UNC Women's Lacrosse’s Top Defender

Before Emma Trenchard came to North Carolina to play lacrosse, she played four years of soccer and basketball at Loomis Chaffee, a boarding school in Connecticut. On the court, her highlights are marked by multi-steal defensive efforts. Those skills have helped Trenchard transition on the lacrosse field into a top-notch defender for the Tar Heels.
