UNC, NC State scientists work together to print human body tissues


A new advancement from biomedical engineers and researchers at N.C. State could one day help more patients avoid knee replacement surgery. By partnering with UNC, N.C. State scientists are creating new body tissues using a patient's own cells. For his older patients, UNC orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Spang recommends artificial knee replacements. (WRAL.com)
